MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) - Belarusian enterprises are taking part in the Kazan International Electric Power Forum ENERGOPROM, which is taking place in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia on 1-3 April, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Kazan International Electric Power Forum ENERGOPROM is a leading industry platform in electric power, facilitating solutions to current challenges in the sector’s development as well as the implementation of the Russian Federation’s energy strategy through 2050, while hosting meetings of industry leaders and experts from CIS and EAEU countries.
In the exhibition segment of the forum, around 100 exhibiting companies from Russia, China, India, Türkiye, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, including Belarus, are showcasing cutting-edge and advanced developments. The official opening ceremony of the forum was attended by Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov; Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich; and Minister of Energy of Russia Sergey Tsivilev.
The collective exhibit, organized at the ENERGOPROM forum with the support of the Belarusian Energy Ministry, brings together six enterprises from among the sector’s institutions and organizations, showcasing a range of technological developments and unique projects, including those being implemented jointly with Russian partners.
For instance, the Belenergoremnaladka enterprise is presenting a computer simulator created on the basis of equipment from the Minsk CHP-4 branch of Minskenergo. The project is aimed at creating a full-fledged training environment for preparing operational personnel and allows for practicing actions in normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Among the company’s demonstration developments are 3D modeling technologies and a range of reverse engineering services - the “backward design” of products, mechanisms, assemblies, and spare parts based on an existing sample. Examples of reverse engineering projects for parts and components of power equipment, complete with the development of design documentation, are being presented.
The Beloozyorskenergoremont branch of Brestenergo is showcasing rotary regenerative air preheater packs (RRAP packs), RRAP pack plates, a traction chain element, a sample of a steam turbine end seal segment, tube sheet samples, laser welding samples, and samples of soldered and welded non-ferrous metal plates.
The largest Belarusian industry production association Energokomplekt is displaying samples of cable products and a range of product offerings.
As part of the ENERGOPROM forum, the private enterprise Vitstroitekhmash is exhibiting the VIPO-36-01 hydraulic aerial platform and an emergency technical vehicle, as well as presenting models of multipurpose lifting equipment and innovative developments.
The participation of Belarusian enterprises and institutions in the Kazan International Electric Power Forum allows for the expansion of unique opportunities to build interregional and international cooperation chains for the purposes of import substitution, experience exchange, and joint project planning.
The operator of the Belarusian exposition is the unitary enterprise Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Preparations are currently underway, applications are being accepted, and the pool of participants is being formed for the upcoming XV St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, which will take place in St. Petersburg on 6-9 October. As part of the event, Belinterexpo is preparing to present a collective exposition of domestic enterprises and institutions.
