Belarus' Gomel Oblast, China's Inner Mongolia sign program of cooperation

MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) - Gomel Oblast of Belarus and the Chinese autonomous region of Inner Mongolia signed a program of cooperation for 2020, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in China.

The document was signed during a visit of a Belarusian delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy to the autonomous region. The delegation comprised acting Gomel Oblast Governor Gennady Solovei, representatives of the Industry Ministry, Minsk Tractor Works, major Gomel food producers. The Belarusian delegation met with Chairwoman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region Bu Xiaolin to discuss cooperation in mechanical engineering, trade and interregional ties between Gomel Oblast and Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

After the meeting, Gennady Solovei and Bu Xiaolin signed a program of cooperation between the two regions.

Inner Mongolia is an autonomous region in North China, founded on 2 December 1949.
