Belarus’ Development Bank officially announces lifting of U.S. sanctions

MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – The Development Bank of Belarus has officially announced the lifting of all sanctions previously imposed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the bank’s press service told BelTA.

The decision was published on the official website of the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury on 26 March 2026 and entered into force on the date of publication.

“This is an important milestone for the bank, which opens up new opportunities for attracting long-term investment, supporting exports, and expanding international cooperation. The Development Bank is ready to resume constructive dialogue with all international financial partners on the basis of mutual benefit and compliance with international standards,” the press service noted.
