MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – The number of personnel on duty at border crossings at the Belarusian-Polish border has been increased in order to clear as many vehicles as possible. The customs service will start clearing automobiles in advance, the press service of the State Customs Committee told BelTA.

The relevant instruction was signed by Polish authorities yesterday and the State Customs Committee of Belarus has been notified about that. The number of Belarusian customs service personnel on duty at the border crossings has been increased in order to clear as much traffic as possible across the Belarusian-Polish border.”
The Belarusian side will begin the customs clearance of outgoing vehicles at motorway border crossings at 23:00 so that they could leave promptly after the Polish side reopens the border to traffic.
Outgoing trains will be cleared by the customs service in advance as well as soon as they are delivered by Belarusian Railways.
