MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar held a working meeting with Managing Director of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) Yaroslav Mandron on 19 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
This was the first meeting between the economy minister and the EFSD in the Fund’s new capacity as an independent international organization.
The parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and the project pipeline for the Fund’s new strategy in Belarus for 2027- 2031, including financing for commercial and infrastructure projects, grant support, and technical assistance.
Belarusian Finance Minister Vladislav Tatarinovich also joined the meeting. The parties reviewed current issues related to cooperation between Belarus and the EFSD, with a particular focus on support for socially significant projects and technical assistance programs.
“This is not our first experience of cooperation. Belarus has already successfully implemented three programs with the Fund,” Vladislav Tatarinovich noted.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening the established partnership.
