MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Large-scale planting of early spring grain and leguminous crops has begun in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
A total of 572,600 hectares are to be planted. As of 21 March, over 37,000 hectares have been planted, representing more than 6% of the planned area.
All regions of the country have joined the planting campaign.
