Antwerp to host business conference on Belarus-Belgium cooperation on African market

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus-Belgium cooperation on the African market will be discussed at the business conference “Together on the African market” which will take place in Antwerp on 7 October, BelTA has learned from the press service of the National Marketing Center at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The conference will be held within the framework Belarus-Belgium Contact Days. The Belarusian Embassy will organize events on trade, agriculture, education, culture and tourism in the Kingdom of Belgium with a view to developing trade and economic cooperation between Belarusian companies and their partners in the EU countries.

The business conference will also include discussions on the prospects for enhancing Belarus-Belgium cooperation on the African markets, developing distribution channels for Belarusian products in Africa with assistance and mediation of Belgian companies. According to the embassy, large shipments of heavy vehicles to Algeria, transport and refrigeration equipment to the Central African Republic will be made thanks to such cooperation.

The Belgian party will be represented by Belgian business with a vast network of business contacts in the African countries that are promoting Belarusian products on the African market. Algeria, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Tunisia and Uganda are of great interest to the Belarus-Belgium cooperation.
