Lukashenko wants construction of Belarusian ports in Russia expedited
Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that the existing logistics has been disrupted by attempts to choke Belarus with sanctions last year. New logistic routes had to be found. “A small thing needs to be addressed now: we have to start loading cargoes in these ports,” he said.

Number of companies in Belarusian FEZs 10% up in 2022
As many as 53 new resident companies were registered with free economic zones, the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, and the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha in 2022. The total volume of declared investments is $260 million. There are plans to create about 2,700 jobs.

Belarusian MTZ's vehicle output 6% up in 2022
The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ made 38,136 units of equipment in 2022, 2,243 up from 2021. The increase is close to 6%. Enterprises run by the holding company MTZ increased vehicle production by about 1,500 units. About 2,500 tractors were sold on the domestic market.
