MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – FC BATE Borisov has decided to take legal action against the fan who ran onto the field of Borisov Arena during the UEFA Europa League game against London's Arsenal on 28 September, BelTA learned from the press service of FC BATE.
UEFA fined FC BATE €5,000 for the field invasion incident. The club paid the fine and decided to lodge a regressive action against the public disturber to recover the above-mentioned sum. According to FC BATE, if the action is upheld, the money will be given to charity.
Thus FC BATE would like to remind its fans that such behavior at the stadium is inadmissible. The club also wants to show that it can use legal mechanisms to punish troublemakers.
