MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – A thematic Minsk Guest Card will be developed ahead of the European Games 2019, Director of Mingorspravka Company Boris Vasilyev told the media on 17 January, BelTA has learned.
“We plan to develop a new event-packed card and include in it places that will be interesting to athletes and fans. We have started working with sport and other organizations. We consider an opportunity of developing an individual product or will recommend certain objects as part of the existing supply. Many show interest in cooperation,” said Boris Vasilyev.
The Minsk Guest Card sales opened on 17 January. The new service has already been used by 29 people, including tourists from China, Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
“We hope the project will be a success. We have studied the experience of other cities, including Kiev and Moscow,” Boris Vasilyev added.
The Guest Card is a tourist program that includes discounts at cafes, restaurants, trading centers, museums and other venues. The project is implemented by the state-run company Mingorspravka and the information and tourist center Minsk. The project has been joined by the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the National Art Museum, the National History Museum, the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle, the Yanka Kupala State Literature Museum, Mikhail Oginsky Museum in Zalesye, Museum Strana Mini in Minsk, and the Zabrodye village-museum.More about Society
