Russian Pobeda to offer flights to Gomel as from 16 February, Minsk as from 25 March

MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – The Russian budget airline Pobeda has been accredited to offer flights to Gomel as from 16 February and to Minsk as from 25 March, BelTA learned from representatives of the Aviation Department of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.

According to the source, in December 2017 the Russian air carrier Pobeda was authorized to service Saint Petersburg-Minsk flights and Moscow-Gomel flights. The carrier will be able to offer flights to Gomel as from 16 February and to Minsk as from 25 March. “We have confirmed their application for flights as from these days. They will take it from here,” noted the source.

The source specified that the Russian company has to sign contracts with maintenance companies, in particular, the Belarusian airports in Minsk and Gomel.

The Russian air carrier Pobeda was granted the permit to perform regular flights to Belarus in November 2017.
