RIO DE JANEIRO, 21 July (BelTA - Xinhua) - Rio de Janeiro anti-doping lab was reinstated on Wednesday by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in time for the upcoming Olympic Games.
The lab was suspended in June and WADA did not specify the reason for the suspension.
The reinstatement avoided a backup plan to send blood and urine samples from Olympic athletes to labs outside Brazil during the Games.
