Tehran, 27 December (BelTA - IRNA) -The 4.2-magnitude earthquake that happened early on Wednesday in Alborz Province, west of Tehran, killed one and injured 57 people.
The quake occurred at 00:54 hours local time (21:24 GMT); the epicenter of the quake was at 50.93 degrees longitude and 35.68 degrees latitude and in the depth of 12 kilometers.
“Emergency and firefighters are now ready on site,” he added.
The epicenter of the quake was registered at Tehran and Alborz border.
