VITEBSK, 1 December (BelTA) – The 3rd international forum of poultry breeders "Novopolotsk 2015" will take place in Novopolotsk on 3-4 December, BelTA learnt from the Novopolotsk City Hall.
The event will be held in Vitebsk Oblast for the first time. The Cultural Palace of OAO Naftan will gather leading specialists in the industry from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Ukraine.
The forum will provide an opportunity to coordinate the work in the most important areas: the protection of interests of national poultry producers; investment and implementation of modern technologies, veterinary protection. An individual block of issues will highlight the development of the selection and breeding base, the provision of companies with poultry breeding stock, the development of technical regulations and national standards for poultry.
“Attending the forum will be representatives of the Food and Agriculture Ministry of Belarus, the International Poultry Council, heads and specialists of poultry factories, representatives of agricultural holding companies and other stakeholders. Partaking in the gathering will also be specialists of Russian scientific and research institutes on poultry. Apart from panel discussions, the forum will include an exhibition of Vitebsk Oblast poultry companies to display poultry products, equipment, veterinary drugs and other associated goods,” the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing Center said.
The forum is organized by the Agriculture and Food Committee of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Novopolotsk City Hall, the Union of Poultry Breeders of Belarus Belptitssoyuz, and the Vitebsk Oblast Marketing Center.
