MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) – Belarusians treated the Moldovan children stranded at the border with Lithuania like their own, Moldovan economist and analyst Serghei Banari told BelTA.
“Of behalf of all sensible citizens of Moldova I want to express my sincere gratitude to the fraternal Belarusian people,” said Serghei Banari.
The expert went on saying: no one doubted that Belarusians, including the government and public associations, would once again show their commitment to genuine values and lend a helping hand in a difficult situation.
“All of us really appreciate this. Many thanks to the leadership of the country and everyone who cares. The fraternal Belarusian people treated our children like their own,” concluded Serghei Banari.
