MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – The 13th Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival will take place in Minsk on 6-20 October, the organizers told BelTA.
The festival will gather the best musicians. Yuri Bashmet is expected to traditionally perform during the opening ceremony with one of the crews he conducts. The organizers are busy preparing a world premiere for a concert featuring an alto, a fortepiano, and an orchestra. It will be performed by the People's Artist of the USSR and Russia Yuri Bashmet and the prominent Belarusian pianist Rostislav Krimer.
The Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival is organized in line with the corresponding resolution of Belarus' Council of Ministers with assistance of the Culture Ministry and the Minsk City Executive Committee.
