Francysk Skaryna's facsimile books open to public in National Library of Belarus

MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – For two days members of the general public can read Francysk Skaryna's facsimile books at the National Library of Belarus as part of the interactive event Let's Read Skaryna's Books Together, BelTA learned from the library's Director Roman Motulsky.

The National Library of Belarus has had Francysk Skaryna's facsimile books printed. The books are available to a large number of readers on 5-6 September as part of the interactive event. During the ceremony held on 5 September to launch the event excerpts from Francysk Skaryna's works were recited by the director of the library and other participants of the event.

Various events to raise the awareness of kids, young Belarusians, and adults about Francysk Skaryna's work have been arranged by the library. An exhibition of scientific literature and articles from magazines and newspapers about Francysk Skaryna has been arranged among other things. The exhibition is complemented by feature films and documentaries about the famous son of the Belarusian land.
