Dana Mall invites to children's art event

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Dana Mall in Minsk will host an unusual concert, which has been called by the organizers as An Hour of Art, on 30 June. The choir of the Belgrade Children's Cultural Center will give a concert to the visitors of the mall at 3pm in the run-up to Belarus' Independence Day celebrations, BelTA has learned.

This children's choir is among the one of the most award-winning singing groups in Serbia. The choir is in Belarus to take part in the 22nd edition of the international festival of church music Magutny Bozha (Mighty God) in Mogilev. Nevena Ivanovic's choir holds awards of numerous prestigious music festivals such as FEDEHO, the Saints Cyril and Methodius Church Festival, Moscow and Alexander Nevsky Sounds, the festival of youth choirs in Belgium, and Singing Snowflakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The free concert in Dana Mall will also feature the Belarusian children's choir Svirel and dance companies from different countries.

Ahead of the concert, the choir of the Belgrade Children's Cultural Center will visit the construction site of the multi-purpose center Minsk World. The children will lay a time capsule to launch the construction of a new residential building Palma 1, which will make part of the Minsk World-International Financial Center.

Commenting on the unusual event, Dana Holdings Head of Real Estate Sales and Marketing Masha Karic said that Belarus and Serbia pay great attention to the art of the young.

“We see that finding and supporting young talents is an important part of Belarus' state policy. We are particularly pleased that with our event we can support young artists and contribute to the close cultural and spiritual relationships between our peoples. I am convinced that the young talents who receive our support today will reward our countries handsomely with their art. We are well aware that children are our future. This is why Dana Holdings implements a number of projects in Belarus to support children and youth,” she said. Masha Karic invited Minsk residents and visitors to attend the very sincere and warm concert.
