MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – A group of experts met in Minsk to coordinate the draft CIS anti-corruption cooperation concept on 22 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
With remarks and proposals from Armenia, Belarus and Russia taken into account, the experts harmonized the draft concept and the corresponding draft decision of the CIS Heads of State Council. According to the press service, the document is needed for further systemic and coordinated cooperation to synchronize efforts against corruption.
The concept determines principles, tasks, main areas and forms of cooperation. Its provisions will make the basis for developing international agreements and other international and domestic legal acts in the CIS, and also interstate anti-corruption programs.
