Belarusian teacher among winners of contest to popularize Russian in CIS

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Inna Vinnik, a counselor at Snov Secondary School, Nesvizh District was awarded a first place diploma at the international contest of pedagogical projects to popularize the Russian language, literature, and education in Russian in the CIS, which took place in Moscow, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Institute of Education Development.

At the contest Inna Vinnik presented a pedagogical workshop of value orientations Ticket to the City of Childhood and won a first place diploma in the Out-of-Class Activity nomination.

The organizers received over 100 applications from teachers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine for the online part of the competition. The offline part took place in Moscow on International Literacy Day. The contest winners were announced in the nominations Russian as a Foreign Language, Russian Literature for Foreigners, and Out-of-Class Activity.

Taking part in the final event were some other Belarusian teachers from Brest Oblast, Gomel Oblast, and Mogilev Oblast.

The international contest of pedagogical projects to popularize the Russian language, literature, and education in Russian in the CIS was organized by the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Cultural Cooperation.
