MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – A pilot census will be conducted Molodechno District, Minsk Oblast on 2-13 October, head of Belarus' National Statistics Committee Inna Medvedeva told a press conference, BelTA has learned.
The head of the National Statistics Committee explained that the pilot census will test the technologies that will be used when carrying out a census of the whole country in 2019. By the way, special areas at stationary premises have designated where any person at any convenient time can leave information about themselves.
The pilot census will be conducted by statisticians.
“We will choose one of the residential areas of Molodechno and several villages to get statistical data on urban and rural population. The pilot census will test the new software and assess the questionnaire,” Inna Medvedeva said.
