Belarus, Tajikistan sign agreements in agriculture, science, interregional cooperation

MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Tajikistan signed agreements in agriculture, science, and interregional cooperation after the talks between Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon in Minsk on 1 December, BelTA has learned.

The agreements were concluded between the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry and the Agriculture Ministry of Tajikistan, and also between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.

Apart from that, the agreement on cooperation was signed between the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and the Executive Body of Sughd Region of Tajikistan. The Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Executive Body of Khatlon Region of Tajikistan concluded an agreement on trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
