Belarus, Serbia to boost media partnership

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Serbia are determined to step up work on promoting media partnership. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus' Information Minister Alexander Karlyukevich and State Secretary of the Minister of Culture and Information of Serbia Aleksandar Gajovic, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry.

The parties discussed further development of bilateral cooperation in press and information. Aleksandar Gajovic suggested organizing a press tour for Belarusian journalists to Serbia.

The meeting was held as part of the visit of State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia Aleksandar Gajovic to Belarus as head of the Serbian delegation for the participation in the 25th Minsk International Book Fair which kicks off on 28 February. Serbia is a Guest of Honor at this year's book fair in Minsk.
