Belarus receives Atomexpo Best Launch Award 2018

Belarus' Energy Ministry received the Atomexpo Best Launch Award 2018 for the Belarusian nuclear power plant project, BelTA has learned.

Incepted in 2018, the Atomexpo Award is a professional international award for a company's outstanding merit in the global industry and its significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry.

The award was presented to Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko. He noted that Belarus has not only made a good start in the nuclear industry but is also looking forward to the successful finish of the project to build the nuclear power plant. Besides, Belarus is ready to take part in Rosatom's other nuclear projects abroad.

The contest of projects by the companies, which have participated in Atomexpo forums in 2009-2018, featured five nominations: Best Launch, Nuclear Technologies for Better Life, Innovation for the Future, Public Communication, and Human Capital Development. Companies from 22 countries applied for the contest.
