MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian team fell behind Russia in the first stage of the competition for army engineers Engineering Formula, which took place in the Russian city of Volzhsky. China came in third, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The same results were observed after two stages of the Safe Environment event in Kostroma. The Belarusian team also came in second as a result of the first stage of the Solid Copy competition for army communications units in Kazakhstan. It is the first time the Belarusian team has participated in the Solid Copy event. Kazakhstan demonstrated the best results so far. China came in third.
The Belarusian team came in third in the first stage of the UAV operators competition Falcon Hunt. Kazakhstan demonstrated the best results, followed by Iran.
Belarus' position is traditionally strong in the Warrior of Commonwealth event, which is taking place in Armenia this year. After four stages Belarus is second, with Kazakhstan at the top. Armenia came in third, Russia fourth, and Iran fifth, specified the source.
