MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – The 2019 European Games Directorate has signed a partnership agreement with the law firm Stepanovski, Papakul and Partners, BelTA has learned.
Participants of the 2019 European Games in Minsk will get legal assistance not only with preparations for the sport forum but also with popularizing the forthcoming competitions.
The agreement with the law firm will take care of the legal aspects of the European Games. Well-trained and competent legal support has been needed since the agreement on arranging the European Games in Minsk was signed, said Georgy Katulin, Director of the 2019 European Games Directorate.
In his opinion, a lot of work will have to be done and a lot of agreements will have to be signed with other international companies. The Belarusian law firm will start working by examining the contracts, which are already being signed.
The 2019 European Games Directorate is about to sign ten agreements with companies, which will act as subcontractors during the European Games. These documents need to be scrupulously examined to ensure their legal integrity, noted Valery Papakul, a partner at the law firm Stepanovski, Papakul and Partners.
The Second European Games are scheduled to take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019.
