MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko received the report of Chairman of the State Security Committee Valery Vakulchik on 27 April, BelTA has learned.
“A lot has been recently said about external and internal security. The year was not easy, the beginning of this year. What is going on and what trends exist in the country as far as the enhancement of our country's security, especially internal security, is concerned?” Alexander Lukashenko wondered. “Please tell me the truth without any trimmings.”
The president was informed about the state of affairs in national security and the challenges which exist in this field today.
Valery Vakulchik also expressed his opinion about the external security of Belarus which, according to the head of state, has an impact on the development of the situation in the country.
