MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Chairman of the State Defense Industries Committee of Belarus Sergei Gurulev on 26 September, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
Alexander Lukashenko asked detailed questions about the state of affairs in the Belarusian defense industry. Ongoing projects were discussed as well as prospective projects that may be implemented by the organizations and enterprises run by the State Defense Industries Committee.
Close attention was paid to the economic performance of the Belarusian military and industrial complex.
The head of state gave a number of instructions relating to the further development of the defense industry.
