MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) – It is necessary to make Belarus a genuinely attractive transport hub. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gave the relevant instructions in his address to the nation and the parliament on 24 April, BelTA has learned.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus does not fully utilize the benefits of its geographical location. “This wastefulness is inadmissible. Why is it more profitable for our citizens to fly from anywhere else — Vilnius, Kyiv, or Warsaw — instead of Minsk? When will Belarus become a genuinely attractive transport hub? This year the central government should give me a document, which will make the world see Belarus from this angle, too,” said the president.
