Lukashenko to pay working visit to Tajikistan

MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will go to Tajikistan on 27 September to attend the CIS Heads of State Council summit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The summit will include a meeting of the heads of state behind closed doors and then with the participation of their delegations. The presidents will consider and take decisions on the CIS current activities and cooperation in various areas.

It is expected that Alexander Lukashenko will hold a number of meetings with foreign leaders on the sidelines of the summit in Dushanbe to discuss bilateral agendas.

As for the Belarus-Tajikistan events, Alexander Lukashenko and Emomali Rahmon will discuss bilateral cooperation and take stock of the progress made in the implementation of the previously-made agreements.
