MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Naumov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You enjoy overall recognition as a great director and script writer. Your films with wonderful actors and profound philosophical meaning have been included in the golden collection of the Soviet and Russian cinematography,” the felicitation message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko remarked that people in Belarus appreciate and respect the creative work of Vladimir Naumov, like his unforgettable characters. “I am convinced that you will continue making a big contribution to the expansion of the cultural dialogue between the peoples of Belarus and Russia,” the head of state stressed.
