Lukashenko, Putin to meet in St. Petersburg 3 April

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Russia President Vladimir Putin will meet in St. Petersburg on 3 April, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov told a press conference on 30 March, BelTA informs.

Speaking about the forthcoming meeting of the heads of state, Alexander Surikov said that it will take place in the narrow and extended formats in St. Petersburg on 3 April. In his words, the presidents will discuss topical issues of the Belarusian-Russian relations and the development of the EEU.

It was reported that Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko spoke about the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin the day before. The vice premier said that the presidents will discuss the progress in the removal of exemptions and restrictions in the EEU.
