Lukashenko offers condolences over Dmitri Hvorostovsky's death

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko conveyed his deepest sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of People's Artist of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“This wonderful, very talented man has left a unique imprint on the history of modern culture and opera art and has earned sincere recognition not only in Russia but also on the world's most famous stages,” the message reads.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarusians love and highly appreciate the art of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. “The untimely passing of this man, whose work inspired and brought only positive emotions, is an irreparable loss for all of us,” the head of state underlined.
