MINSK, 9 May (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Wreaths to the Eternal Flame were also laid on behalf of the Council of Ministers and both houses of Parliament, the heads of the ministries, representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps, youth and public associations.
A moment of silence was observed to pay tribute to the memory of the people who died during the Great Patriotic War.
