Belarus interested in bolstering all-round partnership with Armenia

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Armenia President Armen Sarkissian as the countries mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Over a quarter of a century the Belarusian-Armenian relations have acquired a sustainable development dynamics, the countries maintain constructive dialogue. The productive cooperation between the two countries has always relied on solid traditions of friendship and mutual understanding between our nations,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus is eager to continue and enhance all-round partnership with Armenia, including within the framework of integration initiatives and new joint projects in various fields.

In his message of greetings to the Belarusian president Armen Sarkissian expressed confidence that the intensive political dialogue, practical steps to unleash the potential of the Armenian-Belarusian interaction, enhancement of the mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation and further expansion of humanitarian ties fully meet the long-term interests of the two countries.

“I am convinced that closer cooperation of Yerevan and Minsk in the CSTO, the EAEU and the CIS as well as in the multilateral international format will continue playing an important role in the dynamic development of the entire complex of partnership between our states,” Armen Sarkissian said.
