Alexander Lukashenko sends Neutrality Day greetings to Turkmenistan

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and the Turkmen nation on the national holiday — Neutrality Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Backed by the UN General Assembly, Turkmenistan's neutrality secured the sustainable development and prosperity of your country. Neutrality bolstered Turkmenistan's standing in the international scene,” noted the head of state. “Only peace and security can ensure progress and prosperity of the society. This is why just like Turkmenistan Belarus is intent on securing a respectful and equal dialogue with all partners without an exception.”

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts Belarusian-Turkmen relations, which are based on trust and mutual support, will continue advancing in the interests of the two countries.
