MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Ukraine and Russia are resolute to discuss the restoration of power lines in the Ukrainian conflict zone, BelTA learned from the OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik on 21 September.
Martin Sajdik said: “Last time I said that top officials of the Ukrainian and Russian energy ministries were supposed to meet today. The meeting didn't happen, unfortunately. But the sides have confirmed their resolution to meet soon.”
During the previous meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine representatives of Russia and Ukraine agreed to arrange a meeting of top officials of the energy ministries in Minsk on 21 September. The sides were supposed to discuss matters relating to the restoration of power lines in the conflict zone.
