SOCHI, 14 May (BelTA) – The Eurasian Economic Union member states should put more efforts into advancing integration processes, including in nuclear industry. President of Russia Vladimir Putin made the relevant statement during the Eurasian Economic Council session in Sochi on 14 May, BelTA has learned.
The Russian news agency RIA Novosti quoted Vladimir Putin as saying: “It is important to continue advancing integration processes. In our opinion there are good opportunities for tight cooperation in such areas as nuclear and renewable energy, ecology, healthcare, space exploration, tourism, and sport. It would be useful to pay more attention to cooperation in social and humanitarian affairs, in education, and interregional and transboundary relations.”
