MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Assistant Director General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), FAO Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia Vladimir Rakhmanin. During the meeting the sides exchanged opinions about prospects of stepping up cooperation, BelTA has learned.
Close attention was paid to the organization of the visit of FAO Director General Jose Graziano da Silva to Belarus.
While in Belarus the FAO Assistant Director General took part in the international conference “Laying the foundation in the UNECE region for economic integration and sustainable development towards 2030”.
