MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) - Belarus welcomes any progress that will help end the bloodshed in the east of Ukraine, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 20 October, BelTA has learned.
“We welcome any progress that will help end the bloodshed and promote a peaceful settlement in the east of Ukraine. As emphasized by the participants of yesterday's negotiations, the Minsk agreement remains the basis for this process,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
Dmitry Mironchik added that the Belarusian side will do its utmost to ensure that the work of the negotiators in Minsk will also contribute to this process.
