MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with former Ukraine President Leonid Kuchma to discuss the topical issues of the bilateral Belarusian-Ukrainian relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Leonid Kuchma arrived in Belarus for the negotiations of the trilateral contact group to resolve the situation in the East of Ukraine, the press service noted.
The parties also exchanged views on the progress in the negotiations.
