MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with the members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) led by Gisela Wurm (Austria) who are in Belarus on a pre-electoral mission, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the issues related to the organization of international observation of the forthcoming parliamentary election in Belarus.
The parties also reviewed the status of the relations and possible areas for more active cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the PACE and the Council of Europe in general.
