MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – The trilateral contact group on Ukraine has resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The trilateral contact group and its working groups last met in the Belarusian capital on 20 December. The agenda included the issues of security, a ceasefire regime and an exchange of prisoners. The corresponding statement was adopted.
The working group on economic affairs continued the discussion of water supplies and ways to repay debts to former employees of Ukrainian Railways in several districts of Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast. The working group on political affairs continued discussing the modality of the Steinmeier formula and its future implementation.More about Politics
