MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Andrei Molchan met with Deputy Director General of the Department of Home Affairs of South Africa Jackie Mckay, and the directorate of Consular Service and Bilateral Desk of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in South Africa.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the visa and migration issues and also the prospects for mutual visa facilitation,” the diplomatic mission noted.
The sides also reviewed the prospects for intensifying the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Belarus and South Africa in combating illegal migration.
