Belarus, Iran discuss ways to strengthen investment cooperation

MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – Yuri Lazarchik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Iranian Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, Chairman of the Belarusian-Iranian Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation, to discuss ways to step up investment cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties discussed the current state and development prospects of the bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and investments and organization of joint events,” the press service said.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of the roadmap for the development of cooperation between Belarus and Iran in 2016-2017 signed at the 13th meeting of the Belarusian-Iranian Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation.
