MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Andrei Dapkiunas has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the highlights of the bilateral agenda, in particular the implementation of the agreements reached during recent visits at the high and highest levels, as well as preparations for new joint events. In November Beijing will host a regular session of the Belarus-China intergovernmental committee on cooperation. A large-scale exposition of Belarusian products and a business forum will take place in Shanghai on 5-10 November on the sidelines of the China International Import Expo. Belarus' Consulate General will open in Guangzhou on 8 November. The Belarus-China Tourism Forum will kick off the same day.
The diplomats pointed to common approaches to the major points of the bilateral and international agenda, communicated views on efficient ways to fulfill the instructions of the heads of state on harnessing potential of bilateral cooperation in all the areas.
