Belarus, Armenia to expand industrial cooperation

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Armenia are mulling over possible mechanisms to build up the bilateral trade, including through the expansion of industrial cooperation and the use of modern financial instruments in commercial transactions. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk and Armenia Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hovik Abrahamyan praised the level of relations between the two countries and positively assessed the results of the work of the joint intergovernmental Belarus-Armenia commission on trade and economic cooperation. The parties took note of a high potential in building up trade and economic cooperation.

The Premier stressed he pins high hopes on Armenia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union, which will promote further economic growth of its member states.
