Belarus’ ambassador presents credentials to president of North Macedonia

MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Sergei Malinovsky has presented his credentials to President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the ceremony, the ambassador emphasized that successful development and strengthening of relations between Belarus and North Macedonia fully corresponds to the interests of both countries and peoples.

The improvement of economic relations, expansion of the legal framework, intensification of contacts in tourism, education, science, and cooperation in international organizations were mentioned as important areas of cooperation.

The president of North Macedonia expressed hope for more favorable conditions for the development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest in the future, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
