MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Milli Mejlis Oktay Asadov arrived in Belarus, BelTA learned.
During the visit that will last till 13 October, Oktay Asadov is scheduled to meet with Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich, Speaker of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko, Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov. The parties are set to discuss the development of inter-parliamentary interaction, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, and other areas of mutual interest.
The Azerbaijani MPs are expected to visit a number of industrial enterprises, and the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
