The quality of the Geely cars, which are assembled in Belarus, is commendable, Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov said after test-driving a Geely Emgrand GT car on 27 July.
Six Geely car models, which are assembled in Belarus at present, were presented before the head of government at a presentation site of the Belarusian-Chinese automaker SZAO BelGee.
BelGee is now busy building a new factory. The first car is supposed to roll off the assembly line at the very beginning of 2017. The factory is designed to make 60,000 vehicles per annum initially. It will make three models — two crossovers and a sedan.
